Economics and Finance
I have pursued my passion in the field of Economics and Finance through various essay competitions, olympiads and quizzes. The accolades though were never the goal, simply the recognition of wonderful learning experiences.
School Awards
Excelling in whichever subjects I choose to study has been a goal of mine throughout high school and I attempt with each summative, essay and exam to do just one thing: give it my best shot.
External Courses
I participate in a variety of external courses in areas of interest to accelerate my learning and gain deeper understanding of the topic beyond regular schoolwork.
This course helped me learn the fundamentals of digital marketing including SEO, SEM and Media advertisements.
Through the course, I gained basic knowledge of python and how it can be used for data analysis in the context of cricket which further increased my interest in the course.
Work Experience
In the summer of 2023, I interned at the 4th largest life insurance organisation in India, Max Life Insurance. During my internship in the marketing department, I gained deep insight into the psyche of the Indian customer and gained knowledge of overarching trends in the life insurance sector which I delved into through a report titled,
'A Foray Into The World Of Life Insurance'.
In the summer of 2024, I embarked on a project at YourNest Venture Capital, a VC firm based in Gurgaon. I researched potential Artificial Intelligence solutions that could be implemented by the firm. I built a chatbot that was tested by the firm to increase efficiency by 30% in the deal-flow process.
Olympiads
Olympiads have played a big role throughout my academic journey, providing me with an opportunity to go beyond regular school assessments; allowing me to learn as well as test myself at an advanced level.
